Nonprofit Sheets is a small library of free, carefully built spreadsheet templates for nonprofit financial statements and grant budgets. It is published by Scout Digital LLC.
Why we built it
Executive directors, board treasurers and bookkeepers at small nonprofits need clear financial statements, but they often do not want to buy, or learn, another piece of software. These templates are built for them: the current nonprofit reporting format, plain-English instructions, and formulas that check their own work.
How the templates are made
- Current standards. Built to the nonprofit financial statement format in FASB ASC 958, as updated by ASU 2016-14.
- Checked before release. Every formula and accounting treatment is reviewed before a template is published, and each workbook tests its own tie-outs.
- Kept current. Templates are revised when standards change.
